Lake Bled
We are so excited to have you join us in Bled for our wedding. Here are our recommendations for things to do during your trip!
Mala Osojnica Viewpoint
This quick 45-60 minute hike will take you to one of the best aeriel views of Lake Bled. Though hiking shoes are not required, a sturdy and comfortable pair of sneakers is recommended.
Summer Tobogganing at Straža Bled
Tobogganing is offered in the summer months on a ski slope just off of Lake Bled. Take the chairlift up and ride down on a toboggan and enjoy the view!
VINTGAR GORGE
Vintgar Gorge is a 10 minute drive from Lake Bled and offers gorgeous scenery from elevated boardwalks along the Radovna River.
Paddle Boarding
Stand-up paddle boards are available to rent on the lake!
Clear Kayaks
Though there are regular Kayaks available for rent on the lake, Clear Kayak Bled offers a unique experience with their clear kayaks. They offer both daytime and evening tours.
Other Suggestions
Recommendations for a trip to Bled always include visiting Bled Island, exploring the castle, and trying the famous Bled Cream Cake. You will experience all of these as part of our wedding festivities; however, it still may be worth going to see the church or castle on your own if you would like to explore other parts of the castle or ring the famous wishing bell at the church on the island.
